This policy describes how BestCare IPA collects and uses information you give us through this website. It does not describe how we handle your protected health information — for that, see our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Information we collect
When you submit a contact form, apply to join the network, or sign in to a member or provider portal, we collect the information you give us directly — your name, email address, phone number, and any details you include in your message. We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages viewed, referring URL) for security monitoring and aggregate analytics. We do not collect payment card information through this website.
How we use it
We use the information you submit only to respond to your request — to contact you back, process a network application, or operate the portal you logged in to. We may use aggregate analytics data (page views, session duration) to improve the site. We do not sell your information, rent it to third parties, or use it for advertising targeting of any kind.
How we protect it
All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS. Access to contact form submissions and portal accounts is restricted to BestCare IPA staff with a legitimate need. We perform regular security reviews of our website and hosting infrastructure. If we become aware of a data incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
Cookies and tracking
We use a small number of strictly-necessary cookies: a session cookie that keeps you logged in while you navigate the portal, a language-preference cookie that remembers your locale setting, and a CSRF token cookie that protects form submissions. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics tracking pixels. We do not fingerprint browsers or track visitors across other websites.
Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained for 12 months and then deleted unless an ongoing business relationship requires longer retention. Server logs are retained for 90 days for security purposes. Portal account data is retained for as long as your account is active or as required by applicable law and our contractual obligations.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by contacting us at the email below. California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information). We will respond to verified requests within 45 days.

This site may contain links to health plan websites, government resources, and other external sites. BestCare IPA is not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before submitting any information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the bottom of this page. Material changes will be communicated more prominently. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
